Today we went to see Valletta, therefore we got a tour guide, who showed us around Valletta and told us some very interesting facts about the city. After guiding us around for a few hours we took a break, in which we could go around wherever we wanted to.
Nina, Niki and I went to various shops like a crystal-shop, a gift-store, and a lot of boutiques as well, but my personal highlight of the day was this really cute underground café. The building looked a bit like a wine cellar but there was so much life in it, it’s hard to explain in words, but the decoration made it a cosy place, which you never want to leave again, I was truly mesmerised.
There wasn’t much space to sit, only two tables, but that gave it that private feeling, like it was exclusive or something. The coffee was amazing, I´ve rarely tasted such good coffee. I sadly don’t remember the name of the café but I think it was a Portuguese café because there were a lot of things signed with “Portugal”.
I´d love to go there again some time but who knows what time has to offer for me, if I´ll ever get to Malta again.
If you have ever been to Malta, too or even to that specific café, please feel free to leave a comment!
