At the end of that interesting and beautiful tour on the cruise ship, which we visited on our third day in Malta, we had to get back to the hotel.
The first problem was that not everybody wanted to get back home already so the group was split in half. Our teacher told us where the bus station was and which bus we had to take to come back home unharmed.
But – “surprise” – we didn’t find the bus station so we had to ask a stranger where the right bus station was. As we arrived at the station, we couldn’t read the names of the final stops because they weren’t written in German or English. So we looked for the last stop that sounded a little bit like St. Julian’s (the original name is San Giljan).
Finally, we came back home and went to our hotel rooms. Before the sun set, David, Manuel, Fabian and I decided to go swimming. We had a lot of fun diving each other and swimming. The funniest moment was when Fabian swam to a deeper place and just touched the ground which consisted of mud, but he thought that it was a fish, so he screamed so loudly that everyone on the beach heard him. He actually “ran” out of the sea because he was so afraid that this “fish” could bite him.
I hope that we can repeat such a journey again! I would love to hear your funniest or craziest moments of your last trip!
