Going by boat in Valletta

Today is the second day of my school trip to Malta and I want to tell you all about my morning.

I woke up, had breakfast at the hotel and got ready for a great day in Malta. At 9.45 a.m. the whole class was waiting downstairs at the entrance of our hotel and we were all ready to jump on the bus that was waiting for us. The bus took us all around the island and our guide told us a lot about the history and the current state of Malta.

Did you know Malta has hardly any drinking-water? Well, I didn’t.

After about half an hour we arrived at Valletta and continued our journey by a boat. The boat took us around the two main harbours of the island. I loved the view we had from our boat, of the old buildings which were once built on the island.

We also saw countless boats which varied in size. Unfortunately, we didn’t see a big cruiser but our teacher, Mrs. Mosburger, told us we would visit one the next day, so I’m excited about that.

Have you ever had a boat trip around a harbour?

Please let me know, I’d love to read your experiences!
